We’re Captain Santi & The Wolf pack, we are thrilled you’ve found us and want to learn more about our journey and what has brought us here. I should first introduce myself, an Electrician by trade, a Cisco certified Network engineer in Corporate America for the last 25 years, but more recently at the end of a divorce and beginning of a long overdue midlife crisis. My sidekick companions Mrs. Sable, Mr. Carcer and Sir’ Basil Maestus are what I lovingly refer to as my ‘Wolf pack’.
WELCOME ABOARD CATALYST!
Jokingly said to my closest friends, “I’ve scheduled my midlife crisis for the end of October…”.
With so many hardships stacked in a row since COVID, I'm a person soundly aware of life’s seasons… the signs around us, something started to reveal itself with each closing of the door. Anyone who has gone through divorce knows the multitude of life changing decisions made by, or cast upon you. Still having to sell so much of my belongings (including the house) looking around for where the remainder will go, the water started to call.

Knowing the timeline to sell the house the farm and vacate I also knew the type of vessel that could take me and the Wolf pack to the Gulf, The Florida Keys and beyond. The search lasted many months, a few failing prospects out of state until by happenstance, she fell right into my lap. A 1995 38 foot AFT cabin. It was always going to be an older boat, no worries, we have the knowledge and experience to repair and maintain all the creature comforts.
Join me and the Wolf Pack as we restore an old Cabin cruiser, discover a new culture, lay new roots for a fresh start, it’s going to be a “rebuilding year”. If you’re more of an optimist like me, we learn from our mistakes even more than our successes. Considering the years of experience, we hope to bounce back quickly. So its time for an “away game” with new opportunities, friendships and new love. A bold move yes, but think of the hardened men than settled the west… Sometime you gotta make a spark, we just need a plan.

We’ve gotta get there first, and where is “There..” when was the last time you were new in town? It's a 30 day journey covering 10 major lakes, 10 locks, 149 miles of river, and 46 miles of canal. The journey involves descending 341 feet through 10 locks, with the waterway passing through a series of artificial lakes formed by dams, spanning a total distance of approximately 450 miles.
I’m looking forward to so much, catching crab straight from the bay, seeing dolphins swim against the boat, working on the tan again, shedding overburdened shoulders of responsibility... the sun just hits different on the beach, one last love affair.
I hope you stick around, and hang out with us for a while…. as we rebuild the last chapter of what could be…
